I accept your vote as a mark or appreciation of the services which I have endeavoured to rendei the Borough during the past two and I can assure you that no effoit will be wanting on my part to demonstrate that the confidence reposed in me has not been misplaced. I am looking forward to the incoming, well represented Council with interest and. pleasure, and although some of the problems with which the Council will be faced will be difficult, I am confident that the present councillors will work in cordial co-opera-tion for the satisfactory solution of any that may arise.
