HOME-MADE WINE. By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 13. In the S.M. Court to-day, Kenneth A Vest and Emma Waters were each fined £1 and costs for breaches of the .Licensing Act, in selling home-made wine. BOARDERS’ GUESTS. Five defendants were fined £1 each for being illegally on licensed premises as guests of boarder. ALLEGED THEET OF AIONEY. By Telysjraph—Press Association PALAIEKSTON N., October 13. Charged with the theft at Palmerston North oil September 22 of the .sum of £220 in money, the property ol the Borough Council. Herbert Gurney (26) appeared before Air Alow.'cm, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court this morning. Accused, who was described as a. seaman, and a native of England, presented an unkempt iiiipearar.ee. On the application of tlio police, a remand was granted until next Wednesday. Accused d:<l not ask for hail.
