A party of leading’ financiers arc going to London to meet a group of London business men. They will meet at a country house during the weekend, to discuss the questions of the Anglo-German coal agreement and metal industries.

At a conference of the People’s Party at Cologne, Dr. Curitus (bean of the Trade Board) outlined the country’s commercial progress. Ho said the influx of foreign capital in 1926 exceeded four milliards of marks. There was a phenomenal increase in deposits in the savings banks, to 1,789,000,000 marks. The exports last August were 833,000,000 compared with 430,000,000 in January, 1924. It is estimated that the 1926 exports will be two-thirds those of 1913.
