LAST OFFERING OF SEASON. By Telegraph—Press Association. ‘ 1 DUNEDIN, April 22. The fourth wool sale of the season was held to-day, wlieu 2500 bales,were, offered, mostly of late shorn and strag--glee wools, which were wa,vy in condition, and showed ft good deal of seed. For tilt* last sale of the season, there was a very large attendance of buyers, and under keen competition a good clearance was effected. In view of the inferior quality of the offering, prices were very satisfactory. Coitpared with the March sale, merinos' were dearer bv about a penny; good average i half breds by Id to ljd j crossbreds par to Rl advance; bellies and pieejs, Id dearer. Crutchings also sold well.
