LODGE MEETING.
STAR OF CANTERBURY. At the half-yearly installation meetin" of Star of Canterbury Lodge, Bro. A.° Craig, P.G., presided over a good attendance. . , The installation ceremony was carried cut bv Bro. F. Demus, D.D., G.M., and brothers of Victoria Lodge, assisted by brothers from Alexandnna Lodge , The following officers were installed, into the various offices: —N.G., Bro. A. Duggan; V.G., Bro. A. F. Strutliors: Warden, Bro. C. Robinson; Conductor, Bro. 1:1. Moffitt; Chaplain, Bro. E. W. Jones: Secretary, Bro. b. il. Manger; Recording Secretary, Bra. C G Pettigrew: Treasurer, Bro. A.l. Berry ; R.S.N.G., Bro A Craig; L S N.G., Bro. J. Baird; K.S.V.G., Bro. W. Cullimore; L.S.V.G., Bro. G. Blatch: R.S.S., Bra. W. N. Hillarv; L.S.S., Bro. J. B. Cummiiigs; L.G., Bra. 11. Shaw. Tho annual report and balance sno6t» were received and adopted. The auditors reported that frio funds of ihe Lodge wore in a- 'very sound position, while tho membership was steadily increasing. P G.’s Bros. J. C. Moore, 11. J. Clark, and A. Duggan wore appointed to represent Star of Canterbury Lodge on the South Canterbury U.F.b. Council. Accounts and sick pay amountiSig to £O2 3s wore passed for payment.
