The “Westminster Gazette,” pointing out that tlie Football Association was now in conflict with Australia, as well as European countries regarding amateurism, expresses the opinion that Australia should jo n the Continent in taking a bold line. Believing that payment is a matter of self-determina-tion, there will likely bo a great upheaval in the football world. It is not certain that the Association will be victorious.
