MINIATURE RIFLES.

TIM Alt U CLUB. Tkei Timaru Miniature Rifle Club held shoots on two nights last week, and also completed the second round of the “Herald'’ Shield. The Club lias now a membership of fifty-three, and of these forty-five are active members, all being regular attendants. This week will see tho first shoot for the Hgvhurst Shield, A and B grade, and . also the Clemont Shield, for C grade. The previous week’s trophy is still unsettled, R. Rodgers and E. Wedcrcll having to shoot off. For last week’s trophy the following tied: .T. Day, J. Waters, A. Agnew, C. Collins, W. Donnithorne, P. Fodcn, F. Lewis, .T. Packer, B. Walker, F. Ward, P. McDonald, H. For the previous week’s challenge medal, D. Sinclair and W. Bradshaw shoot off, and for last week, R.' Rodgers won outright with a possible. The highest scores off the rifle for tho week, were —P.
