Tho main body of the British delegates to the Empire Press Congress arrived in Quebec yesterday, headed by Lord Burnham, others being bn’ Elmsloy Carr, Sir Fiank Newnes, Sir William Daires, with a number ot Canadian newspaper men. The party will sail from \ ancouvor later in tho month.

Tho United ‘-Bates was actually pressing more than Britain. “Wo only ask France to be as liberal in her treatment of Britain as she is with the United States.” Lord Burnham was of opinion that the questions of coal and electric power had aiwavs boon tho weak link in tho chain of' British industry, The problem would bo solved if Britain had natural resources of hydraulic power as largo as Canada.
