The tour of the Prince of Wales in the south-eastern districts Is equally successful with his visit to Capetown. Everywhere lie is received with unbounded enthusiasm. In all the towns and villages along the route, people turned out, eager to greet him. The population of these districts Is largely Dutch. The Prince’s evident pleasure in mixing with them' is much appreciated at the various townships. He was met and escorted by large commandoes everywhere. The features of the welcomes were the crowds of children and ex-service men. Ho visited the famous Congo Caves.
