Detectives have established the fact that a gang engaged In the systematic stealing of motor oars, with branches in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide, has bean in operation over three years. One method is to rent garages where the cars are altered beyond recognition. Another is that a member of tho gang buys a car, insures it, a confederate steals the car, and the gang colleot the insurance.;
