LATE MR. C. N. ORBELL.

THE FUNERAL. The funeral of tho late Mr C. N. Orbell took place yesterday afternoon, and it was one of the largest ever seen in Timaru. Forty-five cars followed the hearse, and were filled with relatives, friends, and representatives of local bodies, who had come to pay their last tribute to a gentleman who had been highly respected by all who hod known him. Tho service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. G. V. Gerard. Beautiful wreaths and floral tributes Were sent, by many public bodies, tho N.Z. and A. Land Co., and a largo circle of friends.
