Mrs Lindsay, Dunedin, is staying with Sir Lindsay at the Bank of New Zerdand. Mr Justice Sim arrives from Dun. edia oil Monday and will stay ;it the Hotel. Lieutenant-Commander Eric Rhodes has left for England. Mr John Anstey and Mr C. H. ]2es!ey have gone to .Australia l'or sis. weeks. Mrs E. Cut-ten (Temuka) has come on a visit to her daughter, who lives at Loughcr Hall, near Shrewsbury (says a Loudon correspondent). At present she is in London, spending a few weeks with two other daughters, Mrs George Morris and .Airs" Miller. She- will remain iu Engla.nd for some months longer. Miss May Browjn is staying nt "The Bungalow/' Wai-iti itoad. Miss Josie liauna, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs M. R. Williams, Trafalgar. Street, returned to Christchurch last week. Mr and Mrs H. R. Williams, Trafalgar Street, loft last week for Christchurch for the Grand National.

Last. week Mrs Walter Raymond, Park Lane, gave a most enjoyable dance. The rooms were decorated with bowls of "mimosa, and spring flowers, and similar flowers were on the supper table.
