It is understood that Bishop.?Nevili has resigned the See of Dunedin, to take effect on December 31 next. Cabie advice has been received, that Major-General Chaytor has gone. to England prior to his return to New Zealand. It is expected that he will succeed Sir Alfred Robin.ou his return. j The results of the State examinations of nurses held in June were announced in Wellington on Thursday. The following Timaru nurses were successful:— Copeland, Annie (passed first), McCormick, Mary, Graham, Mary M., Norton, O&ve E., Craigie, Ruby, Sandman, Mildred. . 0n r Monday last a gloom was castover itbe Albury district when it became known, that Mrs William Trembath hnd passed away, at the early age of 32. She was a woman who possessed great kindness of heart, who did good "deeds by stealth; never letting her right hand know what her left hand did. She will be greatly missed by a very large circle of friends and neighbours. . Great, sympathy is felt for her husband and'three little children. On Wednesday last her remains were interred in the • Albury cemetery, occupants of some fifty vehicles paying their last respects to the , deceased lady.
