Mr Chamberlain, Mr Walter Long, Sir 'Auckland Geddes, and Sir Eric Geddes have issued writs against the "Daily News" for statements relating to their investments in Russian securities.
The "Daily News" . admits that its statement was without foundation that Mr Walter Long, Sir Eric Geddes, and Mr Chamberlain;_>had increased, their holdings in Russian shares since the Revolution, or even since the Armistice, and unreservedly apologises for . '-ell© statement which first appeared in the "Red Nation," against which Sir Auckland Geddes has issued writs.
