BOOHAREaT, July 31. ■ Roumanians comple'cely defeated the Hungarians at the Theiss, taking many prisoners and much booty. . LONIXIxN, July 31. Jhe Roumanians have driven, die Hungarians over the Theiss, and captured the Sdotnok bridgehead. They ore now pursuing the Hungarians beyond the river. The British representative at Vienna denies the reports of BelaKun's deposition. The Poles have now occupied all those parts of eastern Galicia assigned to them by the Peace Treaty. The Hungarian attack om,the Roumanians .failed disastrously. The Rouicanians, pursuing, took 8000 prisoners westward of the Theiss.

The Poles are , within eighteen miles of Minsk.

NEW YORK, Aug. 2, - It is reported that M.-Bedl, on behalf of the Hungarian Cabinet, has made overtures to the Allied representatives at Vienna for recognition of ihe new Government. < ]
