Friday, January 24th. .For Cook Islands, Tahiti, Penrhyn Island, United States of America, Canada, Central and South America, TJhited Kingdom and Continent of Europe,- via San Francisco, per Moana, from "Wellington. Money orders and registered letters close 11.45 a.m.; hooks, packets, and newspapers at 12.15 p.m.; and ordinary letters at 12.45 p.m. RESUMPTION OF POST AND TELEGRAPHIC SERVICES. From the 20th January the following hours will be observed, aand mails will he closed' at the hours named:— Pest Office. Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mails for North, South, Fairlie and Salisbury line at present closing at 8 p-.m. on the previous night will close at 6 a.m. For north-boitnd express mails close at 12.45 p.m. For south-bound express at 3>p.m. For ; Fairlie line at 3.15 p.m. For Christchureh and intermediate offices mails close at 3.30 p.m. as usual. Postmen's Deliveries. Owing to the shortage of staff in the postmen's hranch, it is not yet practicable-to resume two. deliveries, hut it is hoped to give full services as soon as sufficient postmen resume duty. . Money Order and Savings Bank Branch. Open daily from 10 a.m. to. 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, and for receipt of deposits only from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. .
