At the Chief Post Office, Timaru, lubject to any necessary alterations, mails will close as tinder:— For offices in North Island daily. 1 p.m. For.Temuka, Geraldine, Ash burton and Christchurch daily at G a.ni. 3 and 1 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. For "Waimsto and Oamara and Intermediate offices 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. For Dunedin and Invercargill at 8 p.m. For Fairlie. PleasanA Point. Cavo, Rnd Albury on Tuesday, Thursday and r»aivirdaiy at 6 a.m., and 3.15 p.m. daily. Registered letter mails closo one hour, and and parcel mail. 1 ? close 45 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mails. _ Mails for United Kingdom and Continent, of Eurone, South Africa. Coylon. India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements and Esypt, also parcels and letters for Expeditionary Forces will be despatched from time to time by best route without special notification. Mails arrive at Timaru Post Office as follows: From Tomulca.
