A mass meeting of the New South Wales Telephonists "Union passed a resolution to strike, as a result of Mr | Spence's refusal to increase their wages to compensate men for night work. The carrying out of the resolution was left in the hands of the xmion executive. SAD FATALITY. A shooting tragedy is reported from Gosford. Two brothers, Frederick and Bert Ruff, went out wallaby shooting and separated. Bert saw what he thought was a wallaby moving in thick undergrowth and fired. He was horrified to discover that he had fatally shot his brother.
