There are many tributes by the Press and public to Cardinal Moran, as a, great churchman, administrator, and statesman, and numerous messages of sympathy have been received. The Government, as a mark of respect, issues a, special black bordered gazette. THE CARDINAL'S SUCCESSOR. By the death of Cardinal Moran, Archbishop Kelly, who was appointed his coadjutor, succeeds him as archbishop. This does not mean of itself that he becomes a Cardinal, that resting entirely with the Pope. Permission has been obtained to inter the late Cardinal Moran's body in St. Mary's Cathedral. ,
