TO-DAY'S MATCHES. Tho representative men'ti team held a practice last night in the Zingari training shed, and all members were in attendance. Tho team travel to Geraldine by the 1.30 p.m. train today, and the following are the players: G. Williams, J. Wallace, E. B. Gabites, H. Gracie, H. Thomas, H,. Tozer, A. Whitley, G. Dobier, J. Mason, R. Burgess, R. J. Lloyd, and E. Williams (emergency). Mr H. G. Keith will be referee. The following players will represent Geraldine against tho representative team, at Geraldine Domain, starting at 3.30: —A. Bennington, F. Keunard, V. Anderson, M. Sutherland. H. Baughen, N. Turner, A. Sutherland, F. Burton, A. Swinburne, D. Turner, F. Wallach (captain). The Ruahino Club have forfeited to Avoca. Owing to some apparent nr'isundorstnuding the Timaru Ladies' Hockey C'luli's withdrawal from tho Association has not been made public. They wish ; t, to !>■'• made known th.it in future they will play no Association matches. The Otago rep. team which played South Canterbury defeated North Otago by 5 goals to 4. In the first spell Otago bad secured 4 goals to nil, mainly bv good combination amonfrrt the forwards. North Otago In the second spell drew level, and then Otago secured a penalty goal which .won them the match.
