THE FIFESHIKE WRECK, TWO BOATS STILL MISSING. Press Association—By Tel.—-Copyright. SYDNEY, August 16. The Underwriters' Association is advised that the Fifeahire is a total, wreck. She is lying on the hard sand and ooral in nineteen feet of water, broadside on to a heavy swell, is bumping heavily. The holds axe flooded, and the prospects of salvage are unfavourable. She stranded on the evening of August 9th and was abandoned at noon on August 11th. Mr Wood's boat has not been seen since leaving at noon on August 10th. Mr Caulfield's was last seen at midnight on August 11th, seven miles south of Guardafui. The Fifivfoire was insured foe nearly | £250,000. | LOST ON A VOLCANO. j TOKIO, August 15.
