New South Wales bi eeders were ■ most successful in tlio housed classes. In British breeds, Mr Studholme, of Canter-bury, took first for Romney Marsh ram under 18 months. Mr J. Dow.thwaitc, Waimato, Canterbury, annexed most of .tho prizes in Border Leicesters, taking first aid second in each ease for rams over two years, under two years, under 18 months, Gn r es -under two years and under 18 months. Sir Dowthwaite was also nwarded champions for ram under two years, and ewo under two veal's. Sir Nixon, Killinchy, Canterbury, was awarded two thirds in Border Leicesters. In English Leicester* Mr Nixon took first and Bhampion and second for two-year rams, socond and third for rams under two years, second for ram under,lß months, first and champion for ewo over two years, second and third for ewe under two years, third)for ewe under 18 months.
