BIG BLAZE AT SEATTLE. Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyright Received 1.10 a.m., June 13th. OTTAWA, June 12. A fire on the waterfront at Seattle, destroyed ten blocks of buildings and 500 persons are homeless. The damage is one million dollars. SERIOUS DAMAGE. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM. June 12. At midnight on Saturday a firo completely destroyed St. Patrick's Hall in the vicinity of the Roman Catholic Church and the Club rooms attached. It almost wholly destroyed a two-storied residence adjoining, formerly used as a convent and damaged a house belonging to Mr Burgess behind the hall. The origin of the fire is not known. Details of the insurance are not yet available, but it is understood that all the buildings were insured, the hall for £o(Hl. The billiard table of tvhe club room and other furniture were also lost.
