'lhe A'.Z. Shipping Company's steamer Buteshire, which loadou frozen niuttcn and general cargo at this part during April, arrived at .London on June 7th. Th& Shaw Savilie and Albion Company's steamer Arawa arrived at Hobart from London via Capetown at 10 a.m. on 'Wednesday. 1 ne vessel leit for Wellington at 5 p.m. The Te Anau completed the discharge of her part cargo of coal at 4 p.m. yesterday, and loaded 100 tons i: atur.e ex Komata for Duuedin. Tiie S.S. Wanaka has been delayed. She leaves Bluff on Sunday morning ivr Timaru and is due here on Monday. She lands 100 tons sugar and ships 4000 bags of produce lor Auckland and way ports.
The Union Company's collier Wailiora. which left 'iimaru on Ist mst. for Newcastle, arrived at her destination on Wednesday. The vessel is expected to leave Newcastle at the end of the week for Lytiltou, Timaru and Oama.ru.
The X.Z. Shipping Company's large steamer Kaikoura with inward cargo for Duuedin. Timaru and Lyttelton, left London on the 7thii!sx. for tlietir.it named port, and is due here with 1900 tons cargo about first week in August. Owing to excessive broaching on the N.Z. Shipping Company's steamer Ruaiine, the vessel was ransacked from stem to stern by the detectives and Custom officers at Wellington last Saturday. Xo trace was found of the missing articles. The Shaw Savill and Albion Company's steamer Mamari arrived at Lyttelton from England on Tuesday night, from Newcastle-on-Tyne. in 40 days 13 hours 27 minutes, the whole run being made without a stop. She came out empty, hurried out to pick up same arrears of cxnort busine".. a*;u her holds being cieled down ready for cargo she beaan loading yesterday morning. She has 75,000 carcases booked, at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Picton, and Wellington.
