The Mount Lyell returns from May.2Bth to June 24th show that 21,342 tons of ore had been treated, in addition to 50861 tons of the North Lyell ore. The converters produced 496 tons of blister copper, containing copper 4M. toss, silver 49,2930zs and gold 2070ozsf Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 2. The quantity and value of the gold exported from the diffeient ports of the co-lony-for the month of June Is as follows : 'Auckland, 28,5100z, value £98,458; Nelson, 36740z and £14,696 jWestport, lOlOoz: and £4040; Greyniouth, 33750z and £13,499; Hokitika, 43430z and £17,376; Dunefdin, 21.5900z and £86,472; Invercargill, 1573gz and £6292; total, 64,0750z, valued at £240,834. For the half year the export of gold showi? an increase of £87,376 in value over that for the first six months of 1902. DUNEDIN, July 2.
