AX INTERESTING REPORT. Per Press Association. •WELLINGTON. February 10. . TLe committee of the Wellington Industrial Association! has reported that it is of opinion that'though the boot trade does undoubtedly show a decrease in the number of workers "employed, that is not in itself, a c-.cse for ahum. The present position is bjttc-r for both masters and men. The question of the future of the trade lies in the methods of production being left free and untrammelled by awards of the Court of Arbitration, and in Che workers realising that if thev are to keep their trade going th'-y must "get the full complement of work out of their rnaehines.and thus successfully Sght tie American competitor. At a meeting of the Council of the Association to-night the report was adopted without discussion.
