Per Press Association. HOKITIKA, April 24. The contract dior the whole of the machinery at Commissioners Flat has been let for £3993. Tenders for excavation cf the dam will be called immediately. The keystone borer is prospecting the Mikonui river ground. Prospects were obtained at 17 feet in light wash. The Totara River Company's dredge is reported to be oa highly payable ground. The Day Dawn Company's application for reserves at Donnelly's Creek was granted at the Boss Warden's Court.
