The Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative Association, limited (per Sir J. Mundell, auctioneer), report on the horse and cattle market at Tattersall's yards on Saturday, as follows :—Our entry comprised 43 horses, 5 cows, farm implements and harness. There was a large attendance of buyers and others interested present during the sale. Keen competition and high prices resulted m a satisfactory clearance of all horses suitable for farm work, and several buyers were unable to fill their requirements. We quote prices realised during the sale as under: — Draughts, young, with trials, £22, £27 10s, £28 10s, £29 to £34 10s; do light and aged,£9los, £13, £16 to £17 10s ; light harness and hackpey sorts slow of sale at £6 10a, £7 15s to £13 ; for good sorts weeds, £1 to £2 ; cows m profit, £2 to £3 15s. Implements and harness sold well.
