Mr Clifford, chief officer of the Tongariro, takes command of the Otarama, It is understood that the New -Zealand Shipping Company are having another new Bteamer built, of similar design to the Wriimate. The colonial mails, which left Auckland by the Alamada on August Bth, arrived m London yesterday, due date. NELSON, September 10 The jubilee of the Loyal Howard Lodge of Oddfellows was celebrated to-night by a social and ball ;which is attended by about six hundred persons, including members of the order and ladies.
