In tho evening the attendance was very lirge, and when the treasurer mada up his finances at 11 p.m., it. was found that exactly 1000 people had paid for admission during tho day. In tho evening tin Garrison Baud «ns present, nnd added very much to tho attraction* of the show. Fraise wjis liberally bestowed on tho committee for the complete wav tho nrrangnments had brou carried out, and Air F. Watson, the society's zealous nnd courteous lion, seeret-iry, was complimented on tho wav ho executed the duties of his office. 'Tito exhibits by local fanciers, such aa Mc;*r* Trigge, Hum's, Yelland and Warrinßfon, wrro greatly i>'!mired, especially 3lr Knnis' young Partridge Cochins, and m tho songster chime* Mr U. Uurgcas' canaries woro very highly spoken of. Tho song birds wero seen at their beet m the afternoon, for nt night tho canary room was singularly silent, and hero nnd tliero it whs rather amusing to notice a canary, v mule, or n lizard fait asleep. In this room the most popular exhibit was n large cage containing eight cannriep, the property of Mr liurgesr, all young ilno birds. Tukcn altogether tho exhibition was a first class one, nnd it is very gratifying to learn thut it lias been a financial as well as a popular success;
