In tho House of Commons Baron de Worm? stated that the Australian colonies not havinc offered any objection to. the final conditions of the Sugar Bounties Convention he assumes that they have agroed to accept it as it standn. He said that the Victorian bill which provided for a differential duty on cane and beet sugar was not repealed when the convention passed, but Victoria would be bound by the same law as England.
