The New Zealand two million 4 per cent loan, with a minimum of 90i, for which tenders were opened on the 7th, is quoted at a premium of one per ceat. (Received 8.20 p.m., Jnne Ist.) It is thought that in consequence of the pledge given by the Parliament of Now Zealand not to borrow in the London market for three years, the loan prospects are excellent. NEW GUINEA. The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the total reserve in note3 and bullion at £12,200,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities at 40 perjcent, being an increase of £400,000 on the total reserve, and an increase of 1 per cent in the proportion of reserve to liabilities.
