The Landing Service pnt some 1800 sack 3 of wheat on board the barqno Lnrline yesterday, and about 500 sacks on board the Arauco. Tho brigantine Ransom was taking m cargo at the wharf yesterday. Tho Mary Campbell discharged the last ot her cargo on to tho wharf yesterday morning, and took m a quantity of produce. Tho Lijttelton Times m its yesterday s i3sno publishes tho following withont comment :— "The following is an oxtract from Mitchell s Slaritimt ReiiUtci- for Angst 10th, under the heading ' Oamnru and Timaru : — ' Tho risk to vessels loading at Timarn is very great. The breakwater and mole at Oamaru are expected to be completed m abont six months. When they aro finished, it i 3 considered that that roadstead will no longer bo designated " dangerous."
