Mr George Blyth, the Dunedin agent for the schooner William and Jane, now ashoro on tho bar at Waiuku, ha 3 received a telegram dated Saturday afternoon, from Captain Jones, stating that ho expects to get his vessel off if tha weather holds fine. Tho cargo is all right, and will be landed at low water. The ketch Isabella, as she lies stranded at Catlin'a river wa3 sold by auction to-day for 135. Auckland, Sept. 24. Arrived — Atlantic, from Raratonga. Wellington, Sopt. 24. Tha s.s. Wakatipu left Sydney wharf at 5.30 p.m. on tho 19th, clearing the Heads at 6.10 p.m. She experienced, until making tho land, variable winds and thick rainy weather, with a heavy northerly swell, passing Stephen's Island at noon to-day, and arriving hero at 6.45 p.m. Passengers: — For Lyttelton — Misses McCullock (2), Mr 3 Donkin, infant and servant, Mr Donkin, Mr Mnlholland, Mrs and Mis 3 McShane, Mrs Spell, Mr and Mrs Weston, Sergeant Mason, Mr Peet, Mr Leary, and 19 steerage ; forDnnedin — Mrs Murdoch, Mr and Mrs McWhinnie and family, Miss Wilson, Mr Colo, and 15 steerage. Paasengers — Misses Wood, Hastings, Maclean, Yardley, Allan, Lyon, Christie and Bannatyne ; Mesdamoa Brown, McManaway, Runciman and family, King, Devin, Powio and Bannatyne; Mr and Mrs Booth, Dr and Mrs Grabham ; Hon. Mr Oliver, Messrs Renner, Boston, Smith, Anderson, Bannatyne, Pago, Walker, Levin, King, Hill. Ringarooma arrived at 1 p.m. Shs left Melbourne on the 18th at 5 p.m. ; arrived at Hobart on tho 20th at 8.30 a.m. ; sailed at 4.30 p.m., and had strong N.W. gales and heavy sea from Hobart.
