Sib,— Would you be kind enough to inform me through jour valunble journal, if it is a right and proper place for a schoolmaster to be playing always with the boya and girli on the playground at play timei. I am, &c., A ScnooLßor. June 18, 1877. [We do not think a schoolmaster should always be playing with the boys and -girls, but we do not tee any harm m his doing so sometimes. We get so many letters now-a--days from " Schoolboys," complaining of their masters' behavior, that we cannot help thinkinc the latter might advantageously substituto birching for other kinds of exercise. — Ed.
