Tho following is Messrs Miles and Co.'a •wool market report for the Australian and Is ew Zealand mail : — Since tho August September sales closed, there has been a fair enquiry for those parcels of wool which were either bought m or withdrawn from the catalogue m the room, and some Ealcs have been made above Hie very low prices then bid, and confidence appears to be slowly returning. The iNoTember sales commenced on (he 26th ult. with a very largo attendance of both home and foreign buyers. The market is decidedly firmer, and much spirit evinced m biddings, still there is a determination to purrhnsv if possible at former rates, and consequently lots are put up much under thi-ir valiif. Anything more particularly m dcinnnd is fetching about a id per lb advance, but fauir y wool on the average is selling wilhuiit ulUiation.
