GERALDINE ROAD BOARD.

A meeting of the above Board was held at the Clarendon Hotel, on the 2nd instant. Present : Dr. Rayner (chairman), Messrs. Slack, W. K. Macdouald, and Gosling. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The following letters were read, namely: — Letter from Secretary for Public Works, requestiug a statement of all contracts entered into by the Board, outstanding on the 2nd February last. Letter trom the Secretary for Public Works, iutimatiug the appointment of an Auditor to examine aud repr rt upon the accounts ot the Board. Letters from the Agent of the Bank of New Zealand, Timaru, dated 13th and 27t'a March. The following Letter and Resolution was received from Mr. Mcgson, and ordered to be entered ou the minutes ; — "2nd April, 1866.
