The Soudan and Abyssinia.
(Per Press Association) Caiko, June 10. Many of the prisoners captured at at Ferkoh have been recognised by Slatin Bey, including an Emir who befriended him while ho was a prisoner in the Soudan. Slatin writes from Suakim. that the' Khalifa (persecutes the European prisoners, and threatens to put them to death. Rome, June 10. The Duke of Sermoneta stated in tho House that if a great force attacked Kassalu it would be difficult to relieve the garrison. He trusted a few months would solve tho problem.
