THE U MARAROA-

A ROUGH TRIP. The Mararoa arrived at Wellington at noon on Wednesday, after experiencing terrible weather on the coast. Her performance as -a seaboat is described as magnificant. Some of the passengers describe their experience of the boat and her skipper as above all praise. The wind;blew with hurricane force, The vessel could not get into Napier, and had to keep well off. The captain says he never encountered such wild and rough weather daring the whole course of bis experience. To add to the interest of the voyage an alarm of fire was raised. It did not amount to auyfching serious, but the word " fire" at sea is • a terror iu itself. She has gone South with a full complement of passengers, and all well.
