It was insured for £400 in the New Zealand office, and the furniture for £200 in the Norwioh Union. Justice Bichmond is rapidly reoovering, He will shortly visit Waiwera. Sir Hercules Kobinson's appointment is practically confirmed. Several racehorses have arrived in Auckland' to fulfill Christmas engage- , meats. CobohjlNdeii, Tuesday. Judgment in the B.M. Court was given to-day in the disputed County election case. Mr Woollams was deolared ousted, and Kenki Frederick Luks, of Tokatea, declared elected to the vacant seat in the County Council. Local Government is at a dead-lock here. The Government have declined to' hand over the County revenue to the Coromandel district.
