COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICES. COUNTY OF TARANAKI. SPECIAL ORDER AUTHORISING LOAN OF £2OOO. TN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in th'at hehalf by Section (d) of Section 16 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and “The Counties Act, 1908,’’ and of Section 33 of “The Counties Amendment Act, 1913,” and of all other Acts and powers in that behalf enabling (an Order-in-Conncil in pursuance of Section 20 of “The Finance Act, 1919,” having been obtained authorising the Council.to borrow), the' Taranaki County Council hereby resolves by-way of Special Order as follows: — 1. That the Council proceed to raise a loan of Two Thousand Pounds (£2000) for the purpose of erecting workers’ dwellings within the said County. 2. That the said loan shall be called “Tho Taranaki County Council Workers’ Dwellings Loan of £2OOO, 1920.” 3. That the currency of the said loan shall be for a period of thirty-six and one-half (36)) years, commencing on the Ist day of October, 1920, and maturing on the Ist day of April, 1957. 4. That the interest of tho said loan shall be at the rate of five pounds five shillings (£5 ss) per centtlm per annum, and shall be payable half-yearly on the Ist days of April and October in each year, i •5. That the form of security for the * repayment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be Two (2) Debentures of One Thousand Pounds (£1000) each, and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the provisions of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913.’’ 6. That the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security . for the payment‘of the said loan and the interest and sinking fund and other charges thereon the Special Rate of one twenty-fourth (l-24th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the 1 basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in tho County of, Taranaki. 7. That ■ the principal and interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington. r 8. That the first year’s interest and cost of raising the loan and sinking fund be paid out of the said loan. The foregoing resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the next [ Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be j hold in the Council Chambers. MOTICE is hereby given that at, a Special Meeting of tho Inglewood County Council, held on Tuesday, the 3rd day of August, 1920, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at tho Ordinary Meeting of the Council to he held on 5 Tuesday, tiro 7th day of September, 1920, at 10.30 a.m., at the Council Offices, Moa Street, Inglewood. In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 97 of “Tire Counties Act, 1908,” and “The Counties Amendment Act, 1913,” the Inglewood County Council resolves by way of Special Order as follows: That the Roads within the County of Inglewood described in the Schedule hereto shall be Main Roads of the County, THE SCHEDULE. Junction Road; From East boundary ■ to the West boundary of the County. Mountain Road: From the North boundary to the South boundary of the County. Tariki Road; From Tariki to the Junction Road. ' Ratapiko Road: From Tariki Road to Mana Road. Bristol Road: From Junction Road to Manganui River, Egmont Road: From Junction Road to Mountain Reserve.
