The Ngakuta, which arrived in the Stream at 11.30 yesterday morning, berthed at 7.30 this morning. Discharging operations were proceeded with at once, and she is expecting to get away for Greymouth to load coal for Wellington on Monday afternoon. OTARAMA DUE TO-DAY. The liner Otarama is due during the day from Newcastle. It was thought that the southerly gale of yesterday might have delayed her a little. THE CORINNA. After discharging her transhipments for the Ruahine at Wellington, the Corinna will undergo survey at Port ; Chalmers. FLORA TO REPLACE MAPOURIKA. The Taranaki Chamber of Commerce has received word from the Union Steamship Company that the Mapourika, which is shortly going on to the Wallington-Nelson service, is to he replacedl in the Lyttelton-Wellington-New Plymouth run by the Flora. The Mapourika, which is at present held up in Lyttelton owing to shortage of labour on the wharves, has 270 tons of Wellington transhipment cargoes aboard for New Plymouth. SJje is expected hero about the middle oT next week. The Flora is a splendid cargo boat, having more space than tho Corinna. BY TELEGRAPH. Sydney, August 20.—Sailed: Niagara (4.50 p.m.), for Vancouver, via Auckland. Wellington, August 20.—Sailed; Pakeha (7.10 a.m.), for London, via Panama. Arrived: Corinna (4.30 p.m.) from New Plymouth. Brisbane, August 20.—Essex, from New Zealand. Manukau Heads, August 21.—Arrived; Rimu (6 a.m.) from New Plymouth. OVERSEAS VESSELS. The Corinthio left Southampton on Thursday for New Zealand ports, and will come via the Panama route. The Liberty sailed from New York on August 15, cargo-laden for Auckland, Wellington, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. The vessel is due at Auckland about September 20 and at Wellington about the end of September. The Borderer, from New York, via Newport News, with general cargo from both ports, was expected to arrive at Lyttelton last night. The Iceland left New York at the end of July for Lyttelton and other New Zealand ports, via Panama. She is due about September 6. The Shahristan was expected to arrive at Lyttelton yesterday. She is from San Francisco direct, and brings a large quantity of case oil in addition to general cargo. _ The Hororata is to sail on Sunday morning for New York. The Somerset will leave Lyttelton on Sunday for New York.
