TAXI DRIVER’S LICENSE.
MANDAMUS AGAINST COUNCIL. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Aug. 21. The case of Flanagan .v, the Corporation of Dunedin was a motion for mandamns for the issue of a taxi license. The City Council had decided not to grant a license to any military deserter. The Judge held that the plaintiff was entitled to a mandamus and directed that the Corporation should hear his application for a license.
