LATE SHIPPING.
SHIPPING TELEGRAMS,
Auckland, Aug. 21.—Sailed: Maheno (1.15 p.m.), for Sydney. WIRELESS FROM OTARAMA. LOADING ON MONDAY. A wireless message received this morning from the New Zealand Shipping Co.’s liner Otarama, announced that the vessel expected to arrive at New Plymotuh at midnight. She left Newcastle on Tuesday morning. No cargo is b'eing brought. The Otarama will bo berthed by the harbourmaster to-morrow morning and will commence loading frozen and other produce at 8 o’clock on Monday morning. All available labour will bp engaged on the wharf that day, as two other vessels (the Glaucus and the Ngakuta) will bo discharging. FLORA, FROM ONEHUNGA. The Union Co. advised this aftemncon that the Flora (which lias 170 tons of Wellington cargo for New Plymouth) is at Orrchunga and is scheduled to sail to-morrow morning, but may not do so -on account, of a shortage of trucks delaying work. On arrival hero the Flora will not-bo able to.berth before the Ngakuta leaves the wharf on Monday evening. SERVICE FROM SOUTH. The Mapourika is scheduled to leave Lyttelton on Monday for New Plymouth with 270 tons of Wellington cargo and the balance from Lyttelton. She should arrive on Wednesday morning and sail on Thursday to return to Wellington. Tire Union Co advise that the substitution of the Flora for the Mapourika in the Lyttelton-Wellington-New Plymouth service will take effect at about the end of the month. Afterdischarging here next week the Flora is scheduled to sail for Wellington and Lyttelton, returning to New Plymouth possibly via Nelson.
