The Government’s position ■is precario.is owing to tho Socialists refusing to assent to tho decree of Signor Nitti (tho Premier) increasing the price of bread and flour. The Socialists are organising strong Parliamentary and public opposition to the decree, which has been badly received. The railway situation is also most serious, trouble arising out of the refusal by- tho rajhvaymeu to move troops and ammunition. The newspapers accuse Signor Nitti of wcakuess.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
