On Saturday afternoon Nicholson defeated Davis "in tho semi-finals of the men's championship, 6 —l, 6 —o, 6 —3. plover defeated Colson in the second round of the men's handicap, and now meets Tinner in the final. Given fine weather, the championship between Miss Brewster and Miss Rnndle and Nicholson and Webster, will in all probability take place ou Thursday afternoon. Miss Greatbatcb will meet Miss M. Thompson in the final fof the ladies’ handicap singles.
