Messrs! Laigely and Company, Limited. Palmerston North, report on their Palmerston North sale. Wo had a small yarding of sheep and cattle, which met a slow’sale. There was a good demand for forwardcondition’ and store cows, empty dairy heifers, and well-bred yearling steels. Mixed coloured steers wore mill el sale. Distributing Co. report having held their opening sale in their new- ferroconcrete yards at Marten, on Thursday. \ very largo yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward, hut, owing to the continued dry weather, bidding was inclined to drag; however, in a large number of cases vendors met the market, and a considerable quantity of both sheep and cattle wore disposed of.
