1069 MILES WITHOUT A STOP IN A HUPMOBILE. This remarkable record was recently made by Mr. H. P. Michael, Dayton, Ohio. After driving 550 miles, remaining at the wheel continually for 26 hours and 10 minutes, Mr. Michael was rcHovod by his brother, Paul B. Michael, who drove 200 miles. H. p. Michael then took the wheel and completed the 1069 miles. Not even the car was stopped in this distance, all fuel being taken on while in motion. The route to and from Dayton included Toledo, Jamestown, Cincinnati, Eaton, and London. The test was completed between Columbus and Dayton. The average consumption of gasoline was a gallon for every 21 miles, and the average speed was 21.38 miles per hour. Mr. Michael’s report is sworn to by officials in the car. The car that will stand a test like this is surely worthy of the high reputation which the Huproobile has made for itself. Whether you are interested in a runabout or require a six-passenger oar, you must investigate the Hupmobilo if vou wish to get the best. CHRISTfE AND GLEN, Manaia; A.
