PROTEST FROM OTAGO. Per press Association. DUNEDIN, Oct. 25. At a meeting of the committee of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association to-night a motion' was passed expressing strong dissatisfaction with the result of tho last meeting of the Now Zealand Association with regard to voting representation and tho salary to be paid to the secretary, the local association being of opinion that it is very improbable that clubs would agree to a further levy under present - circumstances, players having already been taxed for local purposes. The association could not agree to payments in excess of those of the previous year.
