(Received Oct. 2G, 9.33 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 26, lii reply to a question in the Federal House of Representatives, Mr. Batchelor stated that he had received fromCaptain Scott and Professor David a denial of the statement that reports Concerning the expedition would bo given exclusively to a section of the press. 'They would go to Captain Scott’s representative in New Zealand, and from thence would ho transmitted simultaneously throughout Australia.
